Located in New Hampton, Iowa, Checkers & Wreckers Racing Club is home to some of the finest recreational R/C racers in Iowa. We have taken the time to construct our own oval and off-road track with the help of many area friends and businesses. We take pride in our work and we hope that we have been able to provide the city of New Hampton with a safe and family friendly environment in which to enjoy the hobby of off-road RC racing.
Our web site was designed to provide you, the R/C enthusiast or potential enthusiast, with a way to get more information about who we are and what we stand for. We like to host fun events at our track so that you can come out and do some "test -n- tune" with your R/C rides. We promote a friendly yet competitive environment. Having fun with your chosen hobby is the name of the game!
We also respect our environment. As part of our track guidelines, we make sure to clean up the track so that we can do our part to keep the city of New Hampton clean. The city of New Hampton has agreed to let us use the land as long as we do our part to maintain it. The only thing left behind at our track is our footprints and some mean racing lines in the dirt!

Spring is here!
It is time to get ready for racing!.
We are anxious to get our spring clean-up going so we can start racing. Keep your fingers crossed that winter in Iowa has come to an end.
Once again, I want to extend an invitation to anyone who is the least bit curious about our track, to stop out anytime and check it out. As mentioned, we usually race on Sunday evenings, everyone is welcome and it is FREE!.
